CKC China Karting Championship was established in 1997 and is organized by the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China, and promoted by Shanghai Lisheng Racing Co., Ltd. It is the premier karting event in China, having cultivated many of the country\'s top racers, including Zhou Guanyu, China\'s first Formula 1 driver. It has earned the reputation as the "cradle of Chinese drivers." The championship includes five categories: CADET, JUNIOR, SENIOR, MASTER, and OK-N. The competition is open to participants as young as seven years old, encompassing a wide age range and balancing professionalism with inclusivity. Over the years, the CKC China Karting Championship has been held in major and medium-sized cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Jinhua, and Zhuzhou, reaching an urban population of nearly 200 million people. Hosting these events has boosted the cities\' visibility, helped drive economic development, and attracted business investments. For the 2024 season, the championship plans to hold eight events in cities such as Beijing, Dongguan, Macau, Wuhan, Zhuzhou, Shangyu, Jinhua, and Yichang, with an estimated total of around 500 participants. The championship will continue to employ international arbitration and medical teams to ensure safety and compliance. In terms of broadcasting, the events will be streamed live throughout the year on platforms like Bilibili and WeChat Video Channel.
